Over the past four years, the grape cultivation area in Maharashtra has exhibited consistent growth, increasing from 1,05,500 hectares in 2018-19 to 1,10,000 hectares in 2021-22. This expansion in the cultivation area likely signifies a parallel growth in the table grape market, reflecting rising demand and market opportunities. The successive yearly increments suggest a positive trend that aligns with the thriving grape industry in Maharashtra, potentially indicating increased production and consumption of table grapes.
